Tonya here! The lead videographer and owner at Visual Arches. Since no one wants any strangers at their wedding, I thought it would be nice to introduce myself so you can get to know me a bit better.
How did I even end up becoming a wedding videographer with over 50 wedding films produced? I can safely say that my passion for visual storytelling and documentary films is what got me here. There is so much power in being able to capture a moment in time and relive it for a lifetime; rewatching a moment documented via video is basically the ability to time travel!
Hi, I’m Tonya! An Afro-Guyanese Canadian filmmaker who specializes in documentary style films.
Through my formal education and training at Toronto Film school, I've learned the technical ins and outs of everything video production.
After graduating from film school, I started producing wedding films which has now become my niche. Since launching Visual Arches in January 2021 I have successfully filmed over 50 beautiful weddings.
